The Brand Tasmania Council website provides a variety of information to the general public and to existing Brand Tasmania Council Partners. It also provides a mechanism for collecting personal, business, trading and other information about prospective Partners and existing Partners. The focus of the Brand Tasmania Council is to communicate to external markets emphasising why Tasmania is unique. This is undertaken by development and maintenance of a database divided into two sections;
(a) Brand Tasmania Partners; and
(b) Tasmanian eFriends
Brand Tasmania Partners
Brand Tasmania Partners are required to provide a variety of information in order to obtain registration. Such information will be made available on the Brand Tasmania Council website to any persons accessing the website.
Brand Tasmania eFriends
The Tasmanian eFriends program involves you providing personal and other information about yourself in order to obtain registration. Such information shall be retained on our database and shall only be divulged to third parties where we have first sought and obtained your consent, or otherwise in accordance with this Privacy and Security Statement.
The information about you or your business which we may collect and store includes the following information:
(a) Information that identifies you, such as your name, address and how you are connected with Tasmania, which is collected when you register
(b) Company profile which identifies the Brand Partner, including company name, product or services, export market, accreditation and awards and contact person.
If you use any link that is offered through this website then the policies of the organisation operating that linked site will apply to any information you provide about yourself once you have entered that link. Brand Tasmania Council is not responsible for the privacy or security of any such information.
Any information collected by Brand Tasmania Council on this website may be shared within Brand Tasmania Council and its related bodies corporate.
